Kunle Bello

Graphic Designer

My name is Kunle Bello and I am an ICT/Mathematics tutor at Al-Hayyu Model Schools.

Kunle is an accomplished graphic designer, Web designer and Social Media Marketing expert.

As an advocate of justice and egalitarian society, he enjoys using his skills to contribute to the humanitarian services, which he has done and currently doing for various NGOs namely: Techquest, Iftar and Fidyah foundation, Pad A Queen Initiative and host of others. Kunle graduated from the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree in 2015 with a Higher Diploma in Mathematics and Statistics. While in school, he held series of leadership positions in National Association Of Science Students (NASS) as faculty Vice President and at Student Union Government (SUG) as Student Representative Council.

He’s presently the graphic designer for The Shade Of Women Foundation, an NGO that is providing an emergency shelter for women who are victims of domestic violence.

Grace Akintayo

Grace Akintayo is a graduate of Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan. She has volunteered as a radio presenter at Ultimate FM, Minna and Yes Media Academy Radio, Ibadan. She is passionate about women and children and is a firm believer of women and children empowerment.

She has a keen interest in finance and tech. She is passionate about growth and is open minded to new knowledge. She co-owns an online fabric store in Ibadan, Oak Fabrics. She is currently volunteering as a Program Officer at The Shade of Women Foundation. In her spare time, she mentors teenagers.

Abdulhakeem Imran

Web Designer

An alumnus of St.Georges British International School Rome, Italy and a graduate of Computer Science from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Abdulhakeem is a creative individual who has worked with several companies and NGO’s developing and managing their online presence.

Abdulhakeem specialises in web development and IT consulting, he helps entrepreneurs, startups, and nonprofits design their websites and marketing materials to boost their success.

Moriselolaoluwa Adenike Fadahunsi

I am Moriselolaoluwa Adenike Fadahunsi. A final year student of the department of Family, Nutrition and Consumer sciences (Nutrition and Dietetics) of the great citadel Obafemi Awolowo University ile-ife. As an undergraduate, I volunteered as a member of welfare at the International Youth leadership summit organized by the radiant justice chamber of the O.A.U chapter in year 2020.
I did my student internship work experience scheme(S.I.W.E.S) at University College Teaching Hospital, Ibadan. I am currently volunteering as a therapist at The Shade of Women Foundation, hoping to be a able to have positive impacts and bring an end to domestic violence.

Deborah Odumbo

My name is Deborah Odumbo, a graduate of psychology from the University of Lagos. I have worked across different organisations and different positions such as a psychologist assistant, behaviour therapist and researcher. I am passionate about children, especially children with developmental delays. I am also passionate about helping members of the society manage their mental health better. With a major focus on Gender Based violence to change the narrative and stereotype of shaming survivors by providing help to them. My hobbies are reading and traveling. I’m also a French enthusiast. I am a volunteer providing psychological first aid at The Shade of Women Foundation.

Folorunso Bolutife

I am Folorunso Bolutife, Creative Director of a fragrance & accessories outfit named Priscilla’s Stores.

I am a graduate of Psychology from the University of Ibadan.
I am passionate about a sane society where people feel safe.

Studying Psychology in school helped me to make good judgement and find a better way to cope with situations & I also want to assist people to do this.

This prompted me to join volunteer groups that helps to take care of the anomalies in the society.

I am more passionate about the female gender and the ills of the society they have to face as women/girl child & that’s why I decided to join The Shade of Women Foundation as a Psychological First Aid Provider to help gender-based violence survivors feel safe,loved & ensure their self worth/esteem is intact.

Oluwapelumi Taiwo

Program officer

Oluwapelumi Taiwo is the co-founder of Pelz Fashion Store, a fashion retail company and the Program Officer of The Shade of Women Foundation, TSWF.

She is passionate about promoting social empowerment of women and children and is a firm advocate of the sustainable development goals. Oluwpelumi has volunteered for organizations within Nigeria such as Ashers Initiative and Eleven Eleven Twelve Foundation  

Oluwapelumi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Bowen University, Iwo and she is a student of Msc Sustainable Development Practice at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan.

Her work experience includes internship at Delta state Urban Water Board as an office assistant during NYSC. She was a laboratory analyst and In-Process officer at Drugfield Pharmaceutical Limited,Ota. She also worked as a Research Enumerator at Vividrain Consulting Limited, Lagos.

Esther Ajayi

Legal Officer

Esther Ajayi is a Determined, committed, and passionate Legal Practitioner who graduated from Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti, after which she proceeded to The Nigeria Law School, Yola Campus, Adamawa State. Her passion to defend social justice and promote Human Rights, Women’s Rights, and child’s Rights metamorphose into her advocacy for Positive Feminism, War against Abuse, Violence against Women and Eco-Feminism.

 

She’s passionate about Women and Children’s welfare hence her reason for advocating for the goals of SDGs.   Esther is an associate at Musibau Adetunbi(SAN) & Co and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial team, where she has been actively solving legal related issues and handling issues related to Corporate Commercial. she has also been involved in a wide range of matters in litigation which cut across Labour Relations, Civil Litigation, Human Right, Property and Family Law.

She is passionate about knowledge and achieving results. She’s goal-oriented and a goal-getter. She has keen interest in Corporate, Tech, Property, and Human Rights law. She’s presently the Legal Officer for The Shade of Women Foundation an NGO that provides an emergency shelter for women who are victims of domestic violence.  She’s a Member of The Nigeria Bar Association and The Federation of International Female Lawyers.

Kemkanma Woko

HR

Kemkanma Woko ACIPM, is a certified Human resource Practitioner with hands-on experience in Operational HR activities.

A Social Development Goal 5 Advocate, passionate about the girl child and seeks to empower both women and children, having volunteered for NGOs around Nigeria such as Kiss the Family Steer Initiative and #trainagirl Initiative.

Kemkanma holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Afe Babalola University, Ekiti State, after which she proceeded to have a Masters in Peace Studies and Conflict Relations and another in Industrial and Personnel Relations.

Presently volunteering as the Human Resource Personnel for the Shade of Women Foundation. In her spare time, you can see her playing Badminton and Photography.
